Mathis is 17 and has been the
sweetest thing that has happened to me while in Mazamet. Mathis is the second
oldest child in the family that I am staying with, and in a nutshell, he likes
to party. Mathis is actually an extremely smart boy by all means. Out of all of
the people I talk with in Mazamet, he has the best English skills. I really
miss my little brother Max, and in a way, Mathis has made an excellent
temporary replacement of my little cutie. Mathis takes me with him everywhere
that he goes. No matter what party, with any people, to any activity, he is
always very willing to drag me along. I love hanging out with Mathis and he
always makes sure that I am happy and content with what we are doing. He always
tells me, “I am a very studious boy during the week, Amelia. But on the
weekend, I like to have fun.” He translates for everyone wherever we go.
Everyone is always calling for Mathis so that I can understand and talk with

MEET THE
PEOPLE OF FRANCE
So far, I have been able
se to se a lot of amazing things and do a lot of amazing things while I have
been here. But the best part of being here has been the people that I have
met. I have met so many amazing people while I have been here. I am going to
write about everyone that I have met while I have been here one by one. I hope
you enjoy meeting them as much as I have. They will be my friends for the rest
of my life and every single one of them has taught me something very unique and
special.
